Full job descriptionRumson Country Club is seeking a highly motivated bartender with experience, to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers needs and expectations.ResponsibilitiesReceives orders from patrons and waitstaff.Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinksAssess customers needs and preferences and make recommendationsMix ingredients to prepare cocktailsCheck customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking ageRestock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experienceComply with all food and beverage regulationsSkills Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.Computer literacyAbility to keep the bar organized, stocked and cleanPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks.Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.Must be legal drinking age or older.Job Type: Part-timePay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hourPI07ac8ba27017-26289-40411483
