Network Engineer

6 Month Contract - Huge RetailerJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a strong focus on RingCentral to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure, with a particular focus on our RingCentral communication system. As a key member of the IT team, you will work closely with other engineers, support staff, and business leaders to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of network services.Responsibilities:Design and implement our company's network infrastructure, with a particular focus on our RingCentral communication systemTroubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring high levels of network availability and reliabilityWork with other engineers, support staff, and business leaders to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of network servicesDevelop and maintain network documentation and procedures, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-dateMonitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, making recommendations for network upgrades or enhancements as neededImplement and maintain network security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company dataProvide technical support and assistance to end-users, including training and documentation as neededParticipate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network issuesStay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network EngineerStrong understanding of RingCentral communication system, including administration, troubleshooting, and supportExperience with designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access pointsStrong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network intrusion detection and prevention systemsExperience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or NagiosExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategicallyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentRelevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or RingCentral certification, are a plusIf you are a skilled Network Engineer with a focus on RingCentral, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
