ROLE OVERVIEW: We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Sales Planning Analyst to join our Corporate Demand team in Dallas. As a Sales Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of trade strategies that drive brand growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Analyzing trade promotions, monitoring performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to optimize our trade and marketing efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and execution of trade initiatives. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing promotional budgets, forecasting trade spend, and evaluating the effectiveness of trade activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining databases and systems for tracking trade promotions, as well as preparing reports and presentations for senior management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be expected to stay abreast of industry trends and competitive activities to recommend strategies that enhance our market position. Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Strong organizational and project management abilities Knowledge of trade promotion management and optimization Understanding of marketing principles and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry Ability to interpret and translate data into actionable business insights Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade marketing, sales analysis, or a related field within the CPG industry Experience with Go To Market Strategy is required Proven track record of managing and analyzing trade promotions, nice to have Experience with syndicated data sources such as Nielsen or IRI Familiarity with trade spend management software and CRM systems Prior experience in a corporate marketing department is preferred History of creating impactful presentations and reports for senior management Experience working with sales and finance departments to align trade strategies Understanding of the retail landscape and shopper marketing tactics Previous involvement in project management and cross-functional team collaboration Experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment At Cacique, eligible teammates receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance and short-term disability.
