Host/Hostess

Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities: - Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor - Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus - Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently - Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand area - Answer phone calls and inquiries with professionalism - Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Experience: - Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members - Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus - Ability to handle guest relations and resolve any issues promptly - Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting is beneficial - Proficient in phone etiquette for handling incoming calls Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Physical Setting: Casual dining restaurant Shift: Night shift Ability to Commute: Nashville, TN 37206 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Nashville, TN 37206: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
