Faciliites/Groundskeeping

Description• Assist with inspecting and maintaining various aspects of the building, grounds, and equipment.• Assist with the coordination of contractors, laborers, and safety resources.• Assist in supporting all departments with facility requests.• Assist with preventative maintenance related to facilities.• Perform groundskeeping, mowing, trimming, and cleaning grounds Must be able to use groundskeeping equipment in a safe manner.• Assist Facilities Electrician with projects..• Perform minor repairs to Facility.• Perform painting to improve appearance of facility or equipment.• Perform cleaning of the facility, grounds, or equipment using a power washer, or other industrial cleaning equipment.• Licensed forklift and boom/scissor lift operator.• Must be able to perform the physical aspects of the job.• Ability to react to basic system alarms and reset as necessary.• Ability to communicate and work effectively and in close proximity with co-workers to inform them of work-related problems, updates, and to plan, organize, and complete job tasks.• Physically move carts, pallets, and toolboxes from one area to another in order to perform necessary repairs or replacement of parts.• Regular and consistent attendance.• Agility in multitasking in a fast paced manufacturing environment.• Follows all company policies, procedures and safety rules preventing on-the-job injuries by maintaining a clean safe operation and work area.• Understand and support the Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems.• Maintain a clean and safe work area.• Support continual improvement initiatives.• Support JSOX compliance.• Overtime as required to meet customer demands.• Other duties as assigned.RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma/GED; or 6 months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good mechanical and interpersonal skills required. Prior experience using hand tools for repairs and groundskeeping equipment.
