Program Operations General Manager at CATSA

Lead national screening operations with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority as the General Manager of Program Operations. Oversee strategic initiatives and liaise with security partners across Canada. This role is critical within CATSA's Operations branch, emphasizing the development and deployment of consistent and efficient screening processes. The General Manager will manage regulatory affairs and standard operating procedures while fostering strong relationships with colleagues and external partners. Candidates should possess substantial experience in logistics, security, and high-value contract management, along with proven leadership in multi-disciplinary environments. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance on screening operations Develop CATSA's Standard Operating Procedures Manage regulatory affairs and training delivery programs Maintain productive relationships with regulatory and security partners Handle crisis response and contingency planning Requirements University degree in Business Administration or relevant specialty Minimum 10 years of experience in regulated environments At least 5 years of management experience Proven crisis management and advisory experience High attention to detail and effective communication skills Utilize strong leadership and analytical skills to enhance CATSA's operational effectiveness and safety in the aviation sector.
