About us Edco Supply Corporation is a 70 year old manufacturer and distributor of flexible packaging to the Military and Industrial market. The estmating/purchasing position has the following responsibilities: Create custom quotes Create and manage prices for stock items Maintain database of all product costs for all vendors and keep accounting system updated Create purchase orders for cost-of-goods material orders Source quotes from vendors Source quotes and create purchase orders for outsourced vendors Automate quoting over time Coordinate Inventory valuations Skills: 2-3 years experience with Microsoft Office Products 2-3 years experience with Sage 100 and/or QuickBooks 2-3 years experience in an accounting department involved in purchasing, costing, and inventory Able to work independently with minimal guidance Highly organized and good with structure Attention to detail. This position requires someone that is not careless and makes sure everything is accurate Good communications skills, both oral and written.
