Occupational TherapistRosemead, CA, USAAt WelbeHealth, each participant of our program is guided by our interdisciplinary team (IDT) - composed of clinical and non-clinical members who work cohesively to provide quality patient-centered care.The Occupational Therapist coordinates and provides restorative and rehabilitative occupational therapy services, working closely with the PACE Physician, rehabilitation staff, and other IDT members to maximize participant independence and safety, as well as enhance performance of ADLs.This role is different because Occupational Therapists at WelbeHealth:Lower patient volumes no more seeing 3-4 patients an hourForm long-term relationships with participants rather than short-term rehab stintsCollaborate with other therapists, providers, and disciplinesHave work/life balance - no after hours of documentationWe care about our team members. That's why we offer:Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days401K savings + matchComprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonusAnd additional benefits!On the day-to-day, you will:Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs, preferences, and goalsActively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plansDeliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plansProvide active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, and functional training of ADLsWork with Therapy Assistants, providing training, instruction, and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP)Job requirements include:Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy; master's preferredTwo (2) years in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population preferredValid California Occupational Therapy License, or proof of license eligibilityMandarin fluency requiredMust obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferredWe are seeking Occupational Therapists that ideally have outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience.
