Weekend Security

Job Summary: Help create a safe, welcoming environment for our guests and staff. We're looking for a dependable, professional Weekend Security team member to join U&I Lounge. This position is much more than checking IDs. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in helping keep our restaurant and bar running smoothly. Responsibilities Greet guests and check IDs Help create a welcoming first impression Watch for potential issues before they become problems De-escalate situations calmly and professionally Communicate with bartenders, servers, and management Help intoxicated guests find safe transportation home Monitor the bar, dining room, and parking lot Help protect the safety of our guests and employees Enforce house policies respectfully and consistently We're Looking For Someone Who Is Reliable and professional Friendly, confident, and respectful Calm under pressure Observant with good judgment A strong communicator and team player Available Friday and Saturday evenings Security, hospitality, customer service, military, law enforcement, EMS, or similar experience is a plus, but not required. We're not looking for someone who can win a fight. We're looking for someone who can prevent one. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
