Part Time Cake Decorator

Job Overview:Cub Blaine North is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time cake decorator position! Cake Decorators provide quality bakery products that meet the customer needs, ensures customer satisfaction and a positive shopping experience.Job Responsibilities:• Prepare bakery products• Stock, rotate and face bakery product• Ensure adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies• Performing clean up of department• Assist with department merchandising as directed• Assist with customer questions or requestsJob Requirements:• Equipment operation (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, bakery rack)• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.• Must be 18 years of age and older.Physical Requirements:• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.• Walking on uneven ground• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfacesSchedule:• Open availability is requiredBenefits:• Flexible schedule for work life balance• Employee discount• Weekly pay on a progressive union scale• Union benefits for eligible associates including Paid Time OffMy Cub.
