In-Person Interview:The Python/Java Nuance (Crucial for Screening): The candidate will NOT be writing or modifying Python code. They need to be able to read and understand existing Python logic and convert/integrate that logic into the Java application.Core Stack: Java 8+, Spring Boot, SQL, Jenkins, CI/CD, AWS.The "Big Plus" Stack (Target these for top tier): Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL (Postgres).Ownership: Candidates must be strong independent contributors who can take a task and run with it without hand-holding.Work Distribution & Reality CheckLegacy Migration: Converting the Python logic into Java is only a small piece of their daily workload, not the entire job. The bulk of the role is standard, robust Full Stack Java development, design, and application support.Must Have Qualifications: 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience in Java 8+, Python, SQL/databases, AWS, Jenkins, and CI/CD, responsible for the design, development and ongoing support of applications. Candidates should be able to work independently, take ownership, and proactively deliver solutions. Nice to have experience in advanced SQL, Angular, Kafka, and additional AWS technologies.
