Marketing Intern — Commission-BasedSyntax IP, LLC | RemoteAbout Syntax IPSyntax IP is an intellectual property brokerage and consulting firm. We create pitch decks and marketing packages for patent holders seeking to commercialize their technology — positioning their IP in front of licensees, investors, and corporate buyers. We are also developing Syntax Marketplace, a platform where companies can discover, option, and license patents from universities and research institutions. We are pre-launch, early stage, and actively onboarding clients.Position OverviewWe are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a commission-based marketing role. You will be responsible for creating client-facing pitch decks, conducting outreach to patent holders and prospective clients, and helping grow Syntax IP’s consulting pipeline. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset.This position is strictly commission-based. There is no hourly wage or salary. Compensation is tied directly to the revenue you generate. There is no cap on earnings.Responsibilities• Develop customized pitch decks and marketing materials for clients and prospects• Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone to inventors, patent holders, and companies• Present and sell Syntax IP’s service offerings, including patent valuations, licensing outreach, listing preparation, and IP strategy consulting• Produce content for LinkedIn and company newsletters• Support community-building efforts around the Syntax IP brand• Attend one weekly team meeting to review pipeline and coordinate prioritiesQualifications• Demonstrated ability to sell — professional experience, entrepreneurial ventures, or a strong track record in any sales-oriented environment• Strong presentation and written communication skills• Comfortable initiating outreach to new contacts across multiple channels• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision• Driven, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup setting• All majors and backgrounds welcome — we prioritize results over credentialsCompensation & Structure• Commission-based — percentage of revenue from clients you acquire or help close• Fully remote with flexible scheduling• Weekly team meeting via video call• Occasional travel for client meetings or conferences may be required — all travel expenses covered by the company• Professional letter of recommendation and reference provided for strong contributors• Opportunity to transition into a paid position as the company growsIf you'd like, contact Cesare Barritta, Chief Operations Officer, directly on LinkedIn or via email at cesare.barritta@syntaxip.com with a brief message outlining your interest in the position.
