Veterinary Tech Instructor (Adjunct)
Job DescriptionAbout the RoleSole Hire, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our instructional team as an Adjunct Instructor. In this role, you'll help prepare the next generation of veterinary technicians through engaging instruction, mentorship, and hands-on laboratory and clinical training. You'll report directly to the Program Chair, Academic Dean, Director of Academic Operations for Online, or Campus President while upholding Sole Hire's commitment to excellence in veterinary education.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging lecture, laboratory, and clinical instruction aligned with the established curriculumDevelop and maintain comprehensive lesson plans, objectives, and evaluation toolsMonitor student attendance, participation, and overall academic performanceProvide timely feedback on student assignments (within 48 hours of submission)Offer academic support during scheduled office hours or by appointmentIdentify and support at-risk students through proactive retention effortsMaintain professional expertise through continuing education and skill developmentParticipate in required faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activitiesCollaborate with academic leadership to enhance curriculum and student outcomesPosition DetailsTeaching assignments are offered on a module-by-module basisCourse offerings are subject to minimum enrollment requirementsInstructors are expected to meet all scheduled class times as publishedPerformance is evaluated through student feedback and administrative reviewFinal grades must be submitted within 72 hours after the completion of final examsPassion for education, student development, and advancing the veterinary professionRequirementsQualifications• Associate degree (required)• Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician(required)• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Commitment to student success and educational excellence• Ability to create engaging learning experiences in classroom and laboratory settings• Professional appearance and demeanor• Experience with online learning platforms (preferred for online instructionBenefitsCompensation & Schedule• Pay by course and/or credit hour• Compensation based on experience, knowledge, and education level• Part-time schedule, Monday to Friday• Flexible teaching assignments based on mutual agreementStautzenberger College is an Equal Opportunity Employer - EOE/M/F/D/V/SO
