We are selling a proven, cost-effective upgrade that keeps natural grass while dramatically improving player safety, surface durability, irrigation efficiency, and field longevity — installed in one day with no downtime.The OpportunityFieldShield is seeking a high-performing Sales Consultant to lead business development across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This is a ground-floor opportunity with a compelling product, strong testimonials, and a clear competitive advantage.This role is built for a former Athletic Director or Head Field Sports Coach with deep credibility in the DFW sports community; someone who understands how field-related decisions get made, from initial budget conversations to board approvals.What You'll DoLeverage your existing network of ADs, coaches, facility directors, and district administrators across DFW to generate and close dealsConduct field assessments and product demonstrations at high schools, colleges, club programs, and municipal sports complexesBuild and manage a pipeline of prospects across baseball, soccer, football, lacrosse, and multi-sport facilitiesOwn the full sales cycle — from prospecting to signed agreement and post-installation follow-upRepresent FieldShield at regional coaching associations, AD conferences, and field management eventsCollaborate with the FieldShield installation team to ensure smooth project handoffs and client satisfactionWho You Are5–10 years of experience as an Athletic Director or Head Coach of a field sport (baseball, football, or soccer preferred), with a career rooted in the DFW area. You've managed budgets, navigated capital improvement decisions, and built relationships with vendors and district leadership. You have an active, substantial network of decision-makers in the DFW field sports community and they pick up when you call.You're a self-starter who thrives without a manager looking over your shoulder. You communicate consultatively, follow through consistently, and care about athlete safety and field quality. You're comfortable presenting to school boards, booster clubs, and district administrators.Prior sales or business development experience is a plus, but your network and credibility are what matter most.Compensation & EquityThis is a commission-based role with no cap on earnings.
