Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties: - Greet guests and seat them at their tables - Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options - Take accurate food and drink orders from guests - Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy - Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner - Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction - Clear tables and clean dining area after guests leave - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register - Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Requirements: - Previous experience as a Server or in the hospitality industry is preferred - Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus - Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service - Strong knowledge of food handling and sanitation regulations - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
