We sit inside our clients’ operations, learn their bottlenecks, and work alongside their teams to build what actually moves the needle.We are early-stage, growing fast, and assembling the team that will set the standard for how companies adopt AI.About the RoleMaigrate is hiring an AI Transformation Lead to own and scale our strategy function. This is an early-stage, high-ownership role where you will be doing significant individual contributor work yourself as we build the team around you. You will also manage a growing team of AI Transformation Strategists, set the strategic direction for client engagements, and ensure every initiative we take on translates into real, quantifiable outcomes.This is a business leadership role, but it is not a “delegate and review” job. You will be in the weeds with clients, building alongside engineers, and personally driving outcomes, especially in the near term. We want someone hungry and excited to build from scratch, not just someone looking to manage a team.Beyond leading engagements, you will own the hiring and development of the strategist team   identifying the right people, bringing them on board, and building the culture and standards of the function from the ground up.You will have significant ownership, direct access to the CEO, and the opportunity to shape how this function operates from day one.What You’ll DoLeadership & Team BuildingLead, mentor, and develop a team of AI Transformation Strategists - starting lean and scaling as the business growsOwn the full hiring process for strategists: define the profile, recruit, interview, and onboard new team membersSet priorities, establish best practices, and ensure consistent delivery quality across the teamAct as the senior escalation point for complex or high-visibility initiativesHands-On Client & Pod LeadershipOversee multiple industry-specific “pods,” each aligned to a portfolio of clients, where strategists and engineers collaborate to build and deliver AI solutionsIn the near term, you will personally lead engagements end-to-end, including discovery, scoping, delivery, and expansionSupport strategists in building strong, long-term client relationships rooted in trust and demonstrated valueFor high-value or complex clients, step into the strategist role directly to lead the engagement yourselfEnsure consistency and quality across all client engagements within each podAI Strategy, Prototyping & ExecutionOversee the development of AI strategies and roadmaps tailored to each client’s industry, operations, and specific bottlenecksStay on the cutting edge of AI tools and deploy the latest capabilities into client workflows. You will be expected to experiment, evaluate, and apply new tools fastPrototype and build AI-powered solutions directly alongside engineers - you don’t need to write production code, but you should be comfortable turning an idea into a working demoPrioritize initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and speed to impactDrive execution from strategy through implementation and adoptionSales & Growth PartnershipCoach your strategists to collaborate with Maigrate’s sales lead on prospective client engagementsEnsure strategists are actively contributing to the sales process, from discovery through closeHelp shape how we communicate our value to prospective clients based on what your team is learning in the fieldProgram OwnershipOwn end-to-end AI transformation efforts across teams and clientsStandardize frameworks, processes, and playbooks that enable the team to scaleTrack performance, measure ROI, and ensure successful delivery on every engagementWhat We’re Looking For5+ years in consulting, strategy, or digital transformation Hands-on with the latest AI tools: you experiment constantly, know what’s new, and can move fast when a new capability unlocks value for a clientComfortable prototyping and working directly with engineers to bring ideas to life quickly   scrappy, resourceful, and product-mindedExperience building and leading teams, including hiring.
