Role: Java Full Stack DeveloperLocation: Farmers branch, Texas / Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (100% Onsite)Job Type: Long Term ContractExperience Required: 5+ YearsWork Authorization required: US Citizen / GC / GC-EADJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to support the modernization of an existing enterprise application using API-driven and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development along with modern full stack development practices. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement scalable backend services and responsive user interface components using Java and modern web technologies.• Participate in the modernization of legacy applications into Microservices and API-based architecture.• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.• Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards for code quality, security, and performance.• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC lifecycle.• Troubleshoot production issues and support application enhancements and deployments.• Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD integration and containerized deployments.• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release discussions.Required Skills• Strong experience in Java Full Stack Development.• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with focus on Java technologies.• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and related backend frameworks.• Experience developing Microservices and REST APIs.• Strong understanding of full stack application architecture.• Familiarity with DevOps practices and SDLC lifecycle management.• Experience working with OpenShift Container Platform.• Strong communication and leadership skills.• Experience with version control systems such as Git.• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Preferred Qualifications• Experience with containerization and cloud-native application development.• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation tools.• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications.• Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable application design.Primary Skills• Java• Spring Boot• Microservices• REST APIs• DevOps• OpenShift• Communication SkillsNice to Have• CI/CD Tools• Docker/Kubernetes• Cloud Platforms• Frontend Frameworks (Angular/React)Thanks, and Regards Parth Sharma | IT Recruiterparth.s@ampstek.com| 609-842-3455LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/parthshr/Ampstek – Global IT Partner | www.ampstek.com
