New Business Development Manager

The New Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities across targeted industries aligned with Dura-Fibre’s capabilities. This role focuses on building strategic relationships, generating qualified leads, conducting market research, and executing outbound sales efforts to expand into new markets. The position collaborates closely with sales and operations teams to develop customized solutions, strengthen customer partnerships, and support long-term revenue growth through proactive business development strategies.Essential Job Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Identify and target new business opportunities across key industries aligned with Dura-Fibre’s capabilities (industrial, OEM, manufacturing, etc.)Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies including cold outreach, networking, trade events, and industry engagementResearch target markets, key players, and entry strategies to establish a strong go-to-market approach Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospectsLead discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and align Dura-Fibre’s solutions to their needsPartner with operations teams to develop tailored solutions and proposalsEstablish long-term relationships with new clients to drive repeat and expanded businessCollaborate with the sales team to align strategy, share market insights, and identify opportunities to expand existing capabilities into new industriesTrack pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM toolsStay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunitiesMaintaining regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability are conditions of employment and essential function of this position. Education and Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar roleExperience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineered product environments preferredBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experienceQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
