Experienced and Knowledgable Tile Setter

Job Summary: A Tucson Tile Contracting company is looking for a highly motivated Craftsman for a Tile Setting position. We specialize in Residential remodeling projects. This is a full-time position that requires the worker to have reliable transportation, their own set of tools and to be punctual and reliable. We take pride in our work and finished projects, so we expect our employees to be clean cut, keep a clean work area, and respect our client’s homes and property. The qualified candidate will be able to lift up to 80lbs, be able to communicate clearly with coworkers and clients, be open and willing to learn the trade in accordance to our standards, as well as industry standards for tile installation. We are looking for experienced tile setters. Pay will be dependent upon proven knowledge of tile installation and certifications. Background check and drug test will be required. Key Responsibilities: · Measure, mark, and layout surfaces to be tiled. · Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces, using hand and power tools. · Mix, apply, and spread mortar. · Install tiles in specified patterns, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. · Grout, Seal, and install silicone sealant after installation. · Inspect and repair existing tile installations as needed. · Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. · Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean working environment. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a tile installation apprenticeship preferred or Certified Tile Installer. · Proven experience as a tile installer or in a related field. · Knowledge of various tile materials, tools, and installation techniques. · Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. · Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials up to 80lbs. · Excellent communication and customer service skills. Working Conditions: · Work is performed in residential and commercial properties, often requiring flexibility in hours. · May involve exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
