We continuously invest in modern diagnostic equipment, new treatment options, and the latest eyewear and contact lens solutions so our team can provide the very best care possible.If you're looking for a workplace where your work truly matters, your contributions are valued, and you can build meaningful relationships with patients and coworkers alike, you'll feel right at home at Bethany Eye Care.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee front of house operations, including the reception area and day to day administrative workflowsStep in at reception, check-in or check-out when needed to support teamSupport, coach, and develop team members by setting clear expectations and providing ongoing feedback and guidanceEnsure policies and operational processes are clearly documented, understood, and consistently followed, making improvements where neededTrack key operational and performance metrics, using insights to identify trends and opportunities for improvementSupport scheduling, coordination, and administrative needs to keep daily operations running smoothlyPartner with leadership to identify operational gaps and implement solutionsSupport hiring, onboarding, performance management, training of new employees to ensure they're set up for successEnsure compliance with internal policies, employment standards, and regulatory requirementsManage inventory and supplies, including ordering, tracking, and working with vendors as neededAssist with financial tasks such as insurance billing, payment reconciliations, AR/AP, statements, etc.Experience, Skills & QualificationsOptical or healthcare experience is preferred, but not requiredExperience leading HR initiatives such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and team development is strongly preferredFinancial literacy including experience with profit and loss statements, insurance plans, collections, billing, etc. is considered an assetComfort with practice management software, computer software, and digital schedulingExcellent communication, leadership, and customer service skillsComfortable with people and demonstrates strong emotional intelligenceStrong initiative and the ability to anticipate patient needsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentFriendly, professional, and enthusiastic - in person and on the phoneExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentEager to learn and build efficienciesPassion for patient care and a genuine desire to create a welcoming environmentWhy Work With Us?We hire individuals who are service-oriented, driven by lifelong learning, and eager to increase their skills to ensure the patient always receives the best care and experience possible.
