Description A global leader in advanced manufacturing technology is seeking Technical Support Engineers to support highly sophisticated electrical, electronic, optical, mechanical, and automated systems used by leading technology manufacturers worldwide. This role serves as a technical escalation resource responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex equipment failures that cannot be solved through standard troubleshooting methods. You'll work alongside customers, field teams, and engineering groups to restore equipment functionality and improve overall system reliability. What You'll DoTroubleshoot and repair complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, optical, and software-related systemsPerform advanced root-cause analysis and equipment recovery effortsSupport equipment installations, upgrades, relocations, and modificationsCollaborate with engineering and product support teams to resolve escalated technical issuesTravel to customer sites throughout North America and internationallyCreate technical reports, troubleshooting documentation, and corrective action plansDeliver technical training and support continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education: Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair experienceAbility to diagnose failures at the component, subsystem, and system levelExperience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsBackground supporting complex electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, automation, or industrial systemsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel approximately 40%Preferred military backgrounds include: Navy ET, FC, EM, STG, ETN, EMN, MMNAir Force Avionics, Radar, AGE, Electronic WarfareArmy 94-Series Electronics MaintenanceMarine Corps Avionics and Electronics MaintenanceE5 and E6 military technicians with leadership or technical subject matter expertise are highly encouraged to apply.
