Electronics Engineering Technician

We're working on behalf of a client in the Lancaster, PA area seeking a dedicated Electronics and Mechanical Technician who thrives in a dynamic environment.Key Requirements:High school diploma or GED, with additional technical training, certification, or an associate degree preferred2+ years of relevant experience in equipment installation, calibration, and maintenanceComfortable working with gases like hydrogen, nitrogen, and argonAbility to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics, including PLC and HMI diagramsFamiliarity with OSHA, state, and local safety standards, including lockout/tagout proceduresExperience with preventative maintenance, calibration logging, and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical componentsCapable of fabricating, installing, and modifying mechanical and electrical systemsProficient in reading blueprints and designing electrical controlsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience using software tools like Outlook, database systems, and technical programs such as Paradigm or Docstar Main Responsibilities:Ensure all safety policies are followed, including PPE use and safety protocols regarding gases and high voltagesPerform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, including heating furnaces and calibration of electronic devicesConduct repairs on machinery, including heating elements, sensors, and PLC hardwareAssist with calibration and testing activities, including 0TC testingSupport process improvement initiatives and engineering projects to optimize system performanceFabricate, install, and modify equipment, designing electrical controls and assembling panelsDocument maintenance activities, calibration logs, and repair reports accuratelyWork collaboratively with operators, vendors, and management to ensure seamless operationsKeep work areas organized, clean, and safe at all timesTake ownership of assigned tasks, communicate progress, and suggest process enhancements proactively
