Project Manager / Engagement Manager - Pharmaceutical AnalyticsLocation: Boston (Minimum 2-Days Onsite)Employment Type: Full-TimeExperience: 5-12 YearsPosition Summary:As a Project Manager/Engagement Manager, you'll own end-to-end project delivery for pharmaceutical analytics engagements, bridging client needs with our offshore expertise. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Boston at least 3 days per week to foster strong client relationships and seamless execution. Ideal candidates bring deep pharma commercial operations experience and a track record of managing complex, stakeholder-driven projects.Responsibilities:Plan, execute, and deliver analytics projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, focusing on pharmaceutical commercial operations (e.g., sales forecasting, market access, HCP engagement analytics).Build and nurture trusted relationships with diverse client stakeholders, including C-suite executives, commercial teams, and IT leaders.Collaborate closely with offshore delivery teams (India-based) to ensure alignment, knowledge transfer, and efficient resource utilization.Define project scopes, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies using Agile/Scrum or waterfall methodologies.Drive client workshops, requirement gathering, and status reporting to maximize value realization.Monitor project health via KPIs, budgets, and deliverables; proactively resolve issues and escalate as needed.Contribute to pre-sales activities, such as solution scoping and proposal development for pharma clients. Must-Have Qualifications:8+ years in project/engagement management, with 4+ years in pharmaceutical analytics or commercial operations.Proven experience delivering analytics projects (e.g., data visualization, predictive modeling, commercial insights) for pharma/life sciences clients.Strong ability to manage cross-functional, offshore teams and build executive-level client relationships.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, or related field; PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification preferred.Local to Boston area or willing/able to commit to 3+ days onsite per week.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Skills & Competencies:Commercial Acumen: Ability to understand SOW structure, pricing models, and margin levers.Negotiation: Ability to push back constructively on Sales/Clients regarding timelines and scope to protect the delivery team.People Leadership: Proven ability to mentor mid-level managers and transform technical talent into consultative talent.Strategic Thinking: Ability to spot patterns across projects to build reusable assets (IP).
