Flightline Support AssistantThe Flightline employee works together with other employees to give high level customer service by processing and delivering product to the airline gates. Will assist with receiving, stocking, delivering product to all store locations.Flightline/Support works together with other DFS personnel to deliver consistently high levels of service to both external and internal customers.What you'll be doing?Processing and delivering customer orders to the departure gates.Moving merchandise and supplies between stores and stockroom locations.Restocking selling and storage areas in accordance with US Customs regulations and Airport/ DFS policies and procedures.Pack, prepare, check and handout of pre-orders in accordance with flight schedule.Dispense pre-ordered merchandise at collection counters accurately and efficientlyDeliver stock from the shop floor to gate hold rooms within terminal or across terminals in a timely manner.Assist with stock transfers between locations or terminals1-2 years in logistics or related industryAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to work independently with minimal supervisionHigh energy level and have a positive approachAbility to work flexible hours and shiftsIdeal CandidateKey Requirements:Bilingual skills preferred but not requiredAble to perform repetitive assemble and loading work in a fast-paced work environmentAble to perform defined physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.) in a timely mannerLifting of objects up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly. Lifting and carrying for several yards unassistedAble to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays as required by the needs of the businessAble to work additional hours, as neededUnion PositionPay Range: Base Hourly Pay $16.70- $25Start Hourly Rate: $24.50
