Fabricator

FabricatorAs a Fabricator, you will be responsible for performing Pulse MIG welding to fabricate various custom equipment such as dryers, coolers, feeders, conveyors, shakeouts, screeners, spiral elevators, and heat exchangers. This role requires a true fitter and fabrication expertise, as you will complete work orders from scratch. You will work extensively with blueprints and work orders, utilizing math to ensure accurate measurements.ResponsibilitiesPerform Pulse MIG welding for fabrication of custom equipment.Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.Utilize math skills to determine accurate measurements.Complete fabrication work orders from scratch.Essential SkillsProficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.Experience in MIG or Flux Core welding.At least 1 year of fabrication experience.Ability to form and weld metal using various techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience within MIG, GMAW, and FCAW categories is preferred.Experience reading blueprints and work orders for fabrication is required.Why Work Here?Enjoy a laid-back work environment with minimal direct supervision and access to gym, locker rooms, and showers on-site. There are 4 openings on the Day Shift (Monday through Thursday, 6am-4:30pm; Friday 6am-2:30pm) and 1 opening on the Night Shift (Sunday through Wednesday, 6pm-4:30am; Thursday 6pm-2:30am). The facility is non-climate controlled and provides a canteen, gym, break rooms, and lockers for employee convenience.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
