Job #: 790697 Title: Mixer Location: Brooklyn New York Salary Range: 18.00 Position: Mixer Description:Job Summary: The Mixer weights ingredients using Company formulas and operates the robotic mixing system to produce dough and finished products that meet all Company standards (quality, safety, efficiency)To succeed in this position, the incumbent should:Adhere closely to all safety regulations and GMPs Maintain a clean and neat work areaJob Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Verify all productions orders with Production Supervisor• Input formula number, dough size and quantity in batching system. Check programs as directed, ensuring they are consistent with product requirements• Weigh ingredients according to formula, using proper weighing techniques, place measured ingredients into mixing system and dispense properly. Use sensory observations to spot potential quality issues and inform supervisor accordingly.• Keep written dough records• Maintain mixing times, temperatures and sequences according to posted standards, making manual adjustments as necessary.• Maintain production flow to production line• Report all mechanical problems promptly• Run cleaning cycle as necessaryRequirements:Job Requirements:• Able to lift 60 lbs. unassisted • Reading/writing (record keeping)• Basic mathematical ability (operate scale, formulas, counting, etc.)Experience using a Peerless Mixer• Ability to communicate In English• Computer skills (record keeping, reading directions, formulasSchedule:Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday Some weeks on Monday , Wednesday or Friday 6Pm-5Am##G-AttractEnabled##G-User= arlene@activestaffing.comGGG-positive=XXJob Type: Temp to Hire Post Date: 07/30/2024If you are an associate that has already registered with Active Staffing Services, please log into your Web Portal to apply for this position.
