Plant Controller

1st shiftSupervise & train Accounting Assistant in the processing of all payroll information & employee payroll deductions. Periodically audit the payroll information for accuracy.Authorize all purchase requisitions & purchase orders and interface with corporate controllers as needed on large purchases.Supervise the accounts payable function & review all invoices & Account charges.Monitor all invoices for correct accounting of Sales & Use Taxes.Authorized to request various bids as needed in accordance with purchasing guidelines & evaluate all quotes.Develop new ways to computerize information & improve data management.Interface with corporate Human Resources personnel in the development & implementation of all benefits & personnel policies.Calculate cost savings & paybacks.Authorized to initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, processes, and quality system.Develop (BOM) Bill of Materials in Manufacturing Computer System - PLEXPerforms other essential functions as assigned.Working Conditions:Works in a stamping & assembly environment. The team member is subject to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
