Role: Service Desk / Desktop Packaging EngineerLocation: Plano, TX, TN, LouisianaDuration: Long termJob Description5 years of experience in desktop engineering, desktop application packaging, or application deployment support2+ years of experience managing application deployments across enterprise environmentsHands on experience with application packaging technologies including MSI, MSIX, and App VStrong PowerShell scripting experience for automation, packaging, installation logic, validation, deployment, and troubleshootingExperience with deployment and endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, InstallShield, or similar enterprise management platformsAbility to build, test, troubleshoot, and maintain application packages across enterprise desktop environmentsSolid understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, including registry, file systems, permissions, services, Group Policy, and endpoint configurationExperience supporting large scale software deployments in a controlled enterprise environmentFamiliarity with change management, release processes, documentation, and production support standardsUnderstanding of security requirements, vulnerability remediation, patching, and compliance expectations in financial services environmentsExperience working with AWS heavy or cloud integrated environments is preferred, especially where desktop tools connect to cloud hosted infrastructureStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate across infrastructure, security, application, and operations teamsComfortable documenting packaging standards, deployment instructions, known issues, testing results, and rollback procedures
