Enterprise Infrastructure Project Manager (Cloud & Data Center)

Job Title: Technical Project Manager – Enterprise Infrastructure & Digital Platforms Location: Hybrid (Evanston, IL – onsite Mondays & Wednesdays required) Position Type: Long-Term ContractOverview Our client is seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level IT initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, and digital platforms. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring a true IT PM who can drive execution, enforce structure, and lead cross-functional teams in a hybrid cloud and data center environment.You will own initiatives end-to-end—from intake through delivery and stabilization—while aligning stakeholders across engineering, operations, security, and leadership.What You BringBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field8–12+ years of IT Project Management experience with strong infrastructure focusProven track record delivering large-scale enterprise initiatives (infrastructure, cloud, platforms)Hands-on experience in hybrid cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)Strong familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, CMDB, Change/Incident Management)Solid understanding of enterprise networking, M365 environments, and integrationsExperience managing vendors, SIs, and managed service providersAbility to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneouslyPMP, SAFe, or Agile certifications preferredExperience in regulated or security-focused environments is a plusWhat You’ll DoLead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, and digital platformsBuild and manage detailed project plans including timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and dependenciesDrive alignment across technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendorsApply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project needsProactively identify and mitigate risks across technical and operational domainsServe as the central point of coordination across all project stakeholdersManage vendor deliverables, SOWs, and performance accountabilityProvide clear, executive-level status reporting (progress, risks, financials)Lead post-project reviews and continuous improvement effortsProfessional StrengthsDeep understanding of enterprise IT environments (infrastructure, cloud, security, operations)Strong command of PM methodologies (PMI, Agile, hybrid delivery models)Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomesExcellent stakeholder management and executive communication skillsStrong financial and budget management experienceComfortable operating in complex, fast-moving environmentsCompensation $55–$70/hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits.Important Note This role requires onsite presence in Evanston every Monday and Wednesday.Interested?
