In both projects we are growing sustainably and profitably to position ourselves as the benchmark partner by satisfying our customers with comprehensive, innovative, and competitive solutions with high added value.CIE USA-Century Plastics, a division of the global enterprise CIE Automotive, is seeking a talented Program Manager to join our engineering team.Reports to: Director of Program ManagementPrimary Purpose: The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of program management from design to the launch of new programs and engineering changes of existing programs. They are responsible for all deliverables, working with cross functional teams to ensure customer's launch schedule and ensure milestones are fulfilled on time. All these tasks need to be completed while meeting quality, tooling budgets and product cost targets. The Program Manager will hold meetings both internally and with the customer to effectively communicate all phases of the Program and drive all issues to closure prior to the start of production.Essential Functions:Leader / Responsible / Orchestrator of the entire programResponsible for setting up and chairing program reviews internally and with the customersResponsible for providing detailed program information to any & all team members when requiredBe the voice of the customerHave a positive attitude, encourage and appreciate theteamBe very detailed and well prepared for all meetings internally and with the customer.Must understand all steps from business award through product launchingDevelop road map to improve program margins via VAVE if applicableResponsible for providing all required quotes and timing for engineering changesFollow up with the sales team to ensure pricing & negotiations are completedEnsure PO's from customers are invoiced ontimeEnsure internal invoices are signedoffResponsible for maintaining program Tooling TrackerHold weekly meetings and maintain APQP document, including obtaining sign off for all milestonesWork with engineering to create M BOM's, maintain and update as program maturesDevelop and track program timelines (internal and external)Responsible for tracking status of all engineering changesResponsible for tracking and maintaining open issues documentsCoordinate with CIE Purchasing on Material Quantities & Timing for Builds and LaunchResponsible for managing bank build until E/C is effectiveAssist Engineers with customer / internal conflict resolutionSupport OEM BuildsDevelop & provide prototype piece cost and tooling to customerWork with the pre-production team to ensure orders are delivered ontimeResponsible for issuing and tracking status of all program related issuesResponsible for issuing all required program purchase orders for sample materials/pre-productionResponsible for notifying pre-production department of new part deliveriesResponsible for issuing all required tool try-out requestsSupport SRE's and PDR's trialsResponsible for Production / EC Tooling Kick-off ontimeDrive Tooling and equipment maturation prior to hand off to production, by closing all open issues.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a technical field.5 years minimum experience in program managementExperience with Stellantis and Ford is highly desirableGood communication, organizational and problem-solving skillsProficient at Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Project.Ability to manage and track multiple programsKnowledge of plastic, processes, and assemblies of interior hard and softtrimPhysical Requirements: Able to support try outs at different CIEplantsAble to support builds at customer when required
