Apply via Dice today!Thermal Testing EngineerLocation: San Jose, CA - OnsiteRole Overview: The successful candidate will support the development of our Nexus 9000 product line.Key responsibilities include assembling switch prototypes, establishing and maintaining thermal test benches (both air and liquid-cooling), and delivering comprehensive test data and reports.Key Requirements:Education/Experience: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant industry experience.Technical Skills: Proficiency in thermal testing, temperature measurement, and data collection. Hands-on experience with system assembly and troubleshooting is essential.Specialized Knowledge: Understanding of thermal interface materials (TIM), EMI gaskets, and mechanical material properties. Familiarity with FloTHERM and lab equipment (data loggers, thermal sensors, environmental chambers) is highly desirable.Soft Skills: Strong self-motivation, ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
