Quality AnalystLeidos' Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Quality Analyst to join our team In this role, you'll ensure machined components and assemblies meet strict quality standards in accordance with drawings, specifications, and procedures. You'll also play a key part in supporting documentation, troubleshooting, and non-conformance trackingdirectly impacting the performance and reliability of mission-critical hypersonic defense systems. If this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading!Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain indentured parts lists for items manufactured for government contractsArchive documents in PLM or other methodsMaintain configuration management CDRL deliverable recordsDeliver FAI and data pack information for shipmentsWork with site PM to develop and complete deliverable reportsReport monthly metrics through Power BI toolWork with Mechanical Engineers for as built / as designed records in the MES systemMaintain NCR database daily and report status of non-conformances to management.Conduct Meetings with Managers and Government customers.Review and create processes.Participate in non-conformances, root cause investigation.Participate in internal and 3rd party audits.Assist with CDRL reporting.Basic QualificationsUS Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security ClearanceBS degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience or a High School diploma/GED or equivalent education and at least 3 years of relevant experienceMust be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.Must be able to conduct in person and Team meetings with customers and management.Knowledge of the Windchill program.Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.Experience in process creation and review.Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.Applicants must be able to work full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.Candidate must be a resident of the Colorado Springs area or willing to relocate to the Colorado Springs, Monument, Pueblo, CO area.Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Security Clearance.Preferred QualificationsUS Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.Experience in review of Contracts, Statements of Work, Performance Specifications, etc.ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.Experience working in a hardware manufacturing environmentExperience with Windchill PLM, Solumina MES, and Costpoint systemsExperience inspecting complex aerospace hardware and supporting Material Review Board (MRB) processes.Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection and Acceptance Data Pack review / creation.Knowledge of AS5553 counterfeit prevention practices.
