Senior Manager-Social Platforms CLTFCCharlotte FC is actively seeking a creative and passionate Social Platforms Senior Manager to communicate and engage with Charlotte FC supporters, our local community, and the global sporting marketplace to generate brand awareness, build brand affinity, and fuel fan engagement in the digital space. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing digital strategies, messaging and social platforms content planning and execution through a wide variety of platforms; using strong interpersonal skills to support collaboration and content development across diverse teams; and reviewing key performance metrics to inform creation of effective and engaging content. The Social Platforms Manager will report to the Senior Director of Content/Head of Content and collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Sales and Sponsorship teams to create content, determine which platform is best suited to each message and maintain brand consistency across platform. This position will also oversee the suite of channels for the club that includes Charlotte FC Academy, Crown Legacy FC (MLS NEXT Pro) and any future channels. The position is based in Charlotte, NC.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage and execute social media strategies across diverse platforms and ensure social approach is aligned with overall content/brand strategies.Leverage research and insights to understand audiences and how best to engage them.Maintain a clearly defined "social voice and personality" for Charlotte FC channels.Lead day-to-day responsibilities of social platforms team consisting of Social Platforms Coordinators and Interns.Consistently ideate and create high-engaging content.Collaborate with marketing and communications leaders in shaping and bringing to life the Charlotte FC brand narrative.Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.Create and manage social platforms/content calendar.Review and share analytics and insights for all social media platforms with actionable suggestions to increase growth, engagement, new followers and revenue.Additional related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree required.At least 5 years professional experience in social platforms.Management experience.Hands-on experience in content creation and platform management.Excellent copywriting skills.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or working knowledge of photo and editing tools.Must have strong knowledge and understanding of current social platforms including rules of engagement, best practices and emerging trends.Must have strong knowledge of emerging platforms.Experience with social media/digital analytics tracking.Proficient with the English language.Must be flexible and available to work evenings and/or weekends, nights, and holidays.Must pass pre-employment screens.Preferred QualificationsBilingual in English & Spanish.Experience working in the soccer, sports, and/or entertainment industry.Skills for SuccessStrong work ethic and attention to detail.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcome.Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of platforms with diverse audiences.Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.Strong leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to meet strategic deadlines in a dynamic environment.Must maintain complete confidentiality of privileged, and/or sensitive information.The ability to prioritize workload to manage time and tasks.Physical RequirementsMust be able to attend all home and away matches.Sitting at desk and computer for long periods of time.Standing for extended periods of time.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
