About This Role Join a commercial construction crew in College Station, TX as a Carpenter working on vertical projects like hospitals, schools, grocery stores and parking structures. You'll frame walls, floors and roofs, install doors, windows and trim, and deliver precise finishing work from blueprint to final walk-through. This is hands-on work that values skill and a strong work ethic. Expect a mix of indoor and outdoor jobs, physical lifting, scaffold work and teamwork. Pay ranges $17-$40/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for overtime and skill development. What You'll DoMeasure, cut and assemble wood and other materials to build frameworks for walls, floors and roofs per blueprints and specsInstall doors, windows, cabinets, trim, molding and other interior/exterior fixtures with a focus on clean finishesPerform repairs and maintenance on existing structures; replace damaged components and ensure code complianceRead and interpret blueprints, layout plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate buildsMaintain tools and equipment, perform daily safety checks, and follow site safety protocolsWork with crew members and foremen to meet schedules, quality standards and project deadlines What We're Looking ForPrevious commercial carpentry experience on vertical construction projects (hospitals, schools, retail, parking structures)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout plans and measurementsProven skill with hand and power tools, measuring and cutting, and general framing carpentryComfort working at heights, on scaffolds, ladders and uneven surfaces; able to climb and lift regularlyReliable attendance, flexible schedule, and good communication skills with crew and supervisorsPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and work outside in temperatures from ~25° to 115°F QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sitesOSHA 10 (preferred) or willingness to obtain safety certificationsAbility to pass drug screen and background check if requiredEnglish required for jobsite communication What We OfferCompetitive pay: $17-$40/hr based on experienceOvertime opportunities and steady project workSkill training and opportunities for advancement on commercial projectsPaid time off and holiday pay (where applicable)Tool/boot allowance or reimbursement (position-dependent) Ready to Apply?
