Project Manager, Engineering
Overview:
As a Project Manager in a hybrid onsite role, you will lead cross-functional capital equipment projects from initiation through implementation, aligning scope, schedule, budget, and risks with business goals. You'll coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Facilities, and external vendors to drive equipment installations and production readiness. You'll facilitate meetings, track milestones, manage issues, and report progress to leadership while safeguarding safety, quality, and cost targets. Responsibilities:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep projects on schedule and within budgetFacilitate project meetings and maintain detailed project schedulesTrack milestones, risks, and action items; communicate status to stakeholdersSupport equipment installations and qualification activities (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ) and production readinessManage vendor relationships and external providers to support capital projectsIdentify risks and implement mitigation plans; maintain stakeholder alignmentLead multiple projects through key milestones with focus on safety, quality, schedule, and costDrive continuous improvement in project execution and portfolio management processesKey requirementsCapital project execution experience (2-3 years) Manufacturing or engineering experience (5+ years) Experience in a manufacturing, preferably medical device, environmentProven communication and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams (5+ years) Ability to lead cross-functional meetings and drive issue resolutionExperience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPMP certification (preferred) Experience with capital equipment installations (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ) Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experienceProficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar PM toolsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical fieldStrong communicationRelationship building with technical SMEsCross-functional collaborationMicrosoft ProjectSmartsheetPMP certification
