Roles in Admissions involve recruitment outreach, application review, and coordination of enrollment communications.Job DescriptionThe Undergraduate Admissions Event & Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the university's recruitment and yield goals through the planning, execution, and assessment of high-quality admissions events and outreach initiatives. This position leads event operations, coordinates communication with prospective students and key stakeholders, and ensures that all events--both on-campus and off-campus--reflect the institution's brand, mission, and commitment to student-centered service.Key ResponsibilitiesPlay a key role in the planning, coordination and execution of a comprehensive portfolio of admission events, including group visits, specialty visit programs, admitted-student events, counselor programs, and virtual engagement opportunitiesManage event logistics including scheduling, promotion, communication, venue reservations, catering, staffing, transportation, technology support, and event materialsDevelop event timelines, run-of-show documents, and staffing plans to ensure seamless executionCollaborate with campus partners--including academic departments, student services, student ambassadors, and external vendors--to deliver high-impact experiencesEnsure event spaces are set up appropriately and maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere for our guestsCoordinate and deliver outreach programs to support relationship-building with high schools, community partners, and prospective and admitted student populationsSupport communication efforts related to events, including invitations, confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messagingAssist with Slate communication campaign development and review to ensure ongoing updates, accuracy, and alignment with recruitment goalsTrack event registration, attendance, and engagement metricsConduct post-event evaluations to determine impact, gather stakeholder feedback, and implement improvementsUtilize CRM software (e.g., Slate) to manage event builds, communications, and data integrityMaintain event budgets and process invoices, reimbursements, and purchasing requestsProvide administrative support to the admissions leadership team as neededWork with the Student Ambassador Coordinator for scheduling and training of Ambassadors who support events and toursEnsure compliance with university policies, accessibility standards, and safety guidelinesManage the Event & Mail Office day-to-day operations, including coordination of postal mail campaigns, inventory management, and mailing logisticsMinimum QualificationsA Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessaryAnticipated Hiring RangeThe anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $52,916 to $68,162 annually.Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
