Manager, Income Tax

Your expertise will directly shape Spectrum's financial integrity and ensure regulatory confidence.How You'll Make an ImpactPrepare and review US tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including FIN 48 calculationsMaintain and reconcile Spectrum's deferred tax balances and current income tax expenseAssist in the preparation of the Spectrum's 'tax footnote' and related disclosures including Audit Committee ReportsResearch and recommend solutions to income tax accounting issuesEstablish and maintain process controls for SOX complianceAssist with various process enhancements to streamline and automate flow of dataPrepare and review supporting trial balances, fixed asset reports and other tax work papersPrepare and review tax basis balance sheet reports and supporting documentationReview consolidated corporate and partnership income tax returnsInteract with, communicate and respond to requests from other Spectrum departments, Corporate Audit Services and independent external auditorsResearch/understand all pertinent changes in tax law related to federal income taxWorking Conditions* Office environmentWhat You'll Bring to SpectrumRequired QualificationsEducation* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field* CPAExperience* 5+ years of tax analysis, compliance, and reporting experience* 5+ years of ASC 740 experienceSkillsDemonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting and reporting requirements including ASC 740 and IRS Code and RegulationsAbility to analyze and interpret dataAbility to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner, and with all levels of management and company personnelAbility to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressureAbility to manage multiple projects and tasks at one timeAbility to use personal computer and software applications (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.); including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with OneSource Tax Provision softwareAbility to research and resolve technical tax issuesAbility to manage people as well as projects simultaneouslyAbility to show judgment and initiative to accomplish job dutiesMaintain confidentiality and prioritize effectively Knowledge of accounting theoryPreferred QualificationsExperience* 3+ years of Big 4 experience* 2+ years of management or leadership experience#LI-JR4FTX500 2026-70384 2026Here, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers.
