Finishing/Deburr Technician

Job Description Position SummaryThe Finishing / Deburr Technician is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from CNC-machined parts. This role ensures parts meet quality standards, are safe to handle, and are ready for inspection or shipment. Key ResponsibilitiesDeburr and finish machined parts using hand tools, air tools, and abrasive equipmentPerform edge breaking, sanding, polishing, and surface blendingInspect parts for burrs, scratches, and other defectsUse basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part qualityFollow blueprints, work instructions, and customer specificationsClean and properly handle parts to prevent damageIdentify and report non-conforming partsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year of manufacturing or machining experience preferredAbility to use hand tools and basic measuring equipmentBasic understanding of prints or willingness to learn Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and qualityGood manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationAbility to work with small or precision partsDependable and able to meet production goals Work EnvironmentManufacturing shop environment with noise and machineryStanding for extended periods and performing repetitive tasksUse of PPE and finishing tools required Skills Requirednull More DetailsEmployment Type: Full Time Location: West Terre Haute , IN , United States Experience Required: Entry Level Date Published: 18 Mar 2026
