Job Description Office ClerkLocation: Prince George, VASchedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM; Friday, 10:00 AM until all drivers returnType: Temporary to hirePay: $17.00 per hourRemX is partnering with a respected food distributor in Prince George to hire a Traffic / Office Clerk. This position is office‐focused and ideal for candidates with strong clerical, phone, and billing experience. Warehouse experience is not required. This is a great opportunity to join a well‐known organization and transition into a permanent role.Key ResponsibilitiesPhone support: Answer and route calls from carriers, vendors, and drivers; assist with pickup and delivery updatesPaperwork & billing: Prepare and process freight paperwork, invoices, billing statements, and routing documents; enter billing data accuratelyTraffic coordination: Schedule carriers, track shipments, update ETAs, and assist with resolving delaysLight operational support: Provide occasional coordination support related to shipments (no hands‐on warehouse work required)Communication: Maintain accurate records and relay shipment status to internal teams and external partnersOffice organization: File documents, maintain logs, and ensure paperwork is complete and organizedQualifications2+ years of office clerical experience, preferably involving billing, logistics, or transportation coordinationStrong phone etiquette and customer service skillsExcellent organization and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)Clear communicator who performs well in a fast‐paced office environment
