In this rewarding role, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral challenges in a residential setting. DSPs play an important role in helping persons served build independence, develop life skills, and achieve personal goals through encouragement, guidance, and daily support.We offer a variety of full-time and part-time shifts throughout the Twin Cities metro area.Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob duties and responsibilities of the position vary to meet the needs of persons served but may include:Assisting with personal care and daily living activities, including dressing, bathing, and hygienePlanning and preparing mealsFacilitating community activities and transportation using company vehiclesProviding behavioral support and positive reinforcementAdministering medications as trained and assignedEncouraging independence, goal achievement, and life skills developmentAvailable ShiftsShifts are available seven days a week:Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PMEvening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMOvernight Shift (Awake or Asleep): 10:00 PM – 6:00 AMSalary Compensation$16.00-19.00/hour*$13.00/hour asleep overnights*Traditional Benefits for Full-Time EmployeesHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceMN Paid LeaveVoluntary Life InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountPaid Time Off7 Holidays401K Eligible to contribute 6 months from start date.Pinnacle Service Inc. provides person centered services to people with intellectual, developmental, or behavioral disabilities in various settings. We have ambitious standards and go above and beyond in our organization to set ourselves apart from the others.Required QualificationsHave a passion for helping others and is willing to assist persons served with their varying needs.Must be 18 years or older.Must successfully clear a background check.Current driver’s license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record determined by Pinnacle Services policy. Unacceptable driving record will result in reduction of placement options.Preferred QualificationsPrevious direct care experience.CPR/AED certified (will train if missing qualification).
