Software Engineer – Full Stack (AI Platform)Location: San Francisco, CA (Preferred) or New York, NY (Bryant Park)Job Type: Full-Time | On-site (5 days/week)We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join its founding engineering team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, takes ownership of challenging problems, and enjoys building products across the entire technology stack.Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and enhance autonomous AI agents that automate end-to-end insurance workflows.• Develop and ship full-stack features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.• Build responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.• Design reliable, high-performance distributed systems and asynchronous processing pipelines.• Improve AI infrastructure, compute systems, observability, monitoring, and operational reliability. • Collaborate directly with customers to understand business processes and deliver tailored technical solutions.• Work closely with Product and Go-to-Market teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and execute product roadmaps.• Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and production support.• Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and system scalability.Required Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience (high-impact candidates with strong experience may also be considered).• Strong experience building full-stack applications.• Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development.• Strong backend development experience with Golang.• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.• Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing.• Experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable production systems.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and accountability.Preferred Qualifications• Experience building AI or machine learning-powered applications.• Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, or autonomous workflow automation.• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, logging, and production operations.• Previous startup or early-stage company experience.• Exposure to insurance, fintech, or enterprise SaaS products.Technical Skills Frontend • React • TypeScript • JavaScript • HTML5 • CSS3 Backend • Golang • REST APIs • Microservices Infrastructure • Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) • Docker • Kubernetes • CI/CD • Distributed Systems • Asynchronous Processing • Observability & Monitoring Additional • AI/LLMs (Preferred) • Git • System Design Ideal Candidate • Passionate about building AI-powered products. • Strong ownership mentality with a bias toward execution. • Comfortable working across the entire technology stack. • Customer-focused and capable of translating business needs into technical solutions. • Excited to work in a fast-growing startup environment and make a significant impact from day one.
