Opportunity: DO;MD - Interventional Radiology Job Details:Provide interventional radiology coverage for daytime procedures and possible diagnostic readingTypical shifts are 7:30/8:00 AM through 4:30/5:00 PMNo weekends or on-call coverage requiredMust be willing to work at multiple locations as neededPerform IR procedures all day with possible diagnostic exam reading between casesRequired procedures include: US-guided biopsies (liver, lymph node, neck, prostate, renal, thyroid), US paracentesis and thoracentesis, CT-guided procedures (bone biopsy, drainage, lung biopsy), bone marrow biopsy, tube exchanges, IVC filters, PICC lines, tunneled dialysis catheters, and tunneled Pleurx cathetersAdditional procedures the facility can support include lung and renal ablations, AAA endo stents, renal vascular stents, embolizations, IVC removals, and percutaneous gastrostomy tubesPosition created due to candidate retiringFacility: This acute care hospital system operates multiple locations providing comprehensive medical services to the community.
