The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProjects. This role supports project execution through schedule development, progress reporting, resource coordination, and time-impact analysis while working closely with project teams and field operations.What You'll DoDevelop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules to support efficient project executionPrepare baseline, proposal, and recovery schedules for review and approvalAnalyze critical and near-critical paths and identify potential schedule impactsReview subcontractor and vendor schedules for logic, accuracy, and contract compliancePerform jobsite walks to verify progress and support accurate schedule updatesPrepare progress reports, trending charts, and schedule variance analysesDevelop and distribute three-week look-ahead schedules and other schedule updatesSupport change order, delay, and time-impact analysesAssist with resource loading and manpower forecasting as requiredProvide training and mentorship to junior planners and schedulersPerform additional duties as assigned by the supervisorWhat We're Looking ForMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Scheduler on water, wastewater, or heavy/highway construction projectsProficiency in Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProjects requiredStrong understanding of construction sequencing, logic development, and schedule controlsStrong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and related reporting toolsStrong verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferredField operations experience strongly preferredFlexibility to relocate for assigned projectsCommitment to following all company and general safety rules, policies, and guidelinesThis job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
