JOB TITLE: Secret Cleared Cyber Security Analyst - Mid Level JOB LOCATION: Remote but will need to go onsite in Concord, MA occasionally WAGE RANGE*: $85-115k - depending on experience JOB NUMBER: 26-00463 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or information assurance Experience performing risk assessments and vulnerability analysis in cloud environments Knowledge of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP Understanding of secure system design and cloud network security concepts Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or equivalent) JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support risk assessment, security architecture, and information assurance activities across cloud-based environments. This role focuses on evaluating security risks, defining requirements, and supporting the design and implementation of secure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing cloud infrastructure, supporting secure system development, and ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards throughout the system lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Conduct risk assessments and provide security recommendations for cloud-based application and system design Analyze and define security requirements within cloud environments Support the design, integration, and implementation of cloud network security solutions Perform vulnerability and risk analyses across cloud infrastructure and tenant applications Evaluate security posture throughout all phases of the system development lifecycle Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure architecture and compliance alignment Act as a technical escalation point for cloud security and risk-related issues Support continuous improvement of security processes and risk management practices Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or information assurance Experience performing risk assessments and vulnerability analysis in cloud environments Knowledge of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP Understanding of secure system design and cloud network security concepts Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or equivalent) At least one cloud certification (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud) Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal or DoD cybersecurity programs Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes Experience working across system development lifecycle (SDLC) in secure environments Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities * While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
