POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title: Inventory and Shipping Associate Job Summary: The Inventory and Shipping Associate is responsible for keeping track of min/max inventory levels of installation and project related materials. This position will also be responsible for tool tracking and shipping for projects in support of DataOne’s mission -- specifically, support better management of inventory levels, incoming materials from projects and supply level planning. Functional Responsibilities: Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels. Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures. Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. Communicates with employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues. Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Daily Responsibilities: Operate mechanical lift, winch, or vehicles Load and unload materials Take inventory of materials shipped or received Store, count, weigh, and open materials received Load and unload trucks, railway cars, and other vehicles for transporting goods Fill warehouse orders Label boxes to identify materials Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard Experience Required: Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful Must be able to function independently in a responsive, timely and organized manner Attention to detail and organizational skills Fork lift experience preferred DataOne IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
