Human Resources Generalist
Job Title: HR Generalist
Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000 starting, depending on experience & education level
Summary: Worldwide Foam is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to serve as the primary point of contact for all hiring and onboarding activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and efficient process for applicants and new employees. The HR Generalist will also collaborate closely with the HR Manager on various HR compliance and employee engagement initiatives, contributing to the overall success of our HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Selection:
Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract top-tier talent.
Source, screen, and schedule interviews for hiring managers and candidates for open positions.
Conduct thorough background and reference checks.
Manage the offer process and coordinate with management on negotiating competitive packages.
Onboarding & New Hire Integration:
Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires.
Facilitate engaging new hire orientation and training sessions alongside the HR Manager.
Ensure new hires have all the necessary resources and information to start their roles effectively.
Collaborate with temp agencies on rate negotiations for temporary staffing needs.
HR Operations & Compliance:
Partner with the HR Manager on all HR compliance initiatives.
Stay current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist in maintaining accurate employee records and data in the HRIS system.
Support employee terminations, offboarding, and leaves of absence processes.
Employee Engagement:
Assist in the development and implementation of innovative employee engagement programs.
Conduct employee relations activities and address employee concerns promptly and effectively.
Help foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Serve as the corporate site office manager, overseeing the ordering and management of office supplies.

Physical Demands:

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding.
Strong understanding of HR compliance and state/federal regulations.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems (Isolved experience is a plus).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial HR setting is preferred.
