As we continue to expand across Latin America, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth initiatives across Brazil .Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing Recruitment Partners (RPs) to drive student enrollments for the Global Student Program (GSP). This role requires strong business acumen, relationship management skills, and a results-driven mindset to build long-term partnerships and strengthen market presence in Brazil.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment Partner Identification & OnboardingIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new Recruitment Partners (RPs), including education agents and channel partners.Conduct due diligence, reference checks, and maintain proper documentation for partner approval.Ensure all partnerships meet established quality and compliance standards.2. Partner Engagement & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Recruitment Partners to drive consistent performance.Provide training, marketing collateral, and ongoing support to partners.Monitor enrollment pipelines and guide partners to achieve business targets.3. Student Counselling & Application SupportSupport partners in student counselling to ensure high-quality leads and application submissions.Review applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with academic requirements.Enhance the student experience by optimizing the application journey.4. Market Intelligence & Product PositioningGather and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and student demand in Brazil.Share insights with internal teams to refine product offerings and go-to-market strategies.Strategically position upGrad GSP programs to maximize partner engagement and student interest.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partner management (preferably in EdTech or education).Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing channel partnerships.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Willingness to travel across Brazil for partner engagement.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key SkillsBusiness Development & Sales StrategyStudent CounsellingPartner Identification & Account ManagementTraining & OnboardingApplication Review & Quality AssuranceNegotiation & Stakeholder ManagementMarket Research & AnalysisEdTech Sales
