About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, using precision measuring instruments, and ensuring quality will be crucial to our success.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and parameters are in place.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce parts that meet required dimensions and tolerances.
Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify conformance.
Perform basic machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation and part quality.
Qualifications
Required Skills
2+ years of experience operating CNC machines (Okuma, Makino, or Fanuc preferred).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
Strong math skills and experience with precision measuring instruments.
Preferred Skills
Manual machining experience.
Forklift experience.
Familiarity with ISO 9000/9001 compliance.
