Job Title: Electrical AssemblerJob DescriptionThis role focuses on assembling, routing, and securing electrical wiring and harnesses for electro-mechanical equipment. You will work with blueprints and schematics to build high-quality wire harnesses and cable assemblies, perform basic testing, and support overall electrical assembly operations on the production floor.ResponsibilitiesRoute and tie wires to form wire harnesses used in electro-mechanical equipment according to blueprints and schematics.Assemble and install electrical components, cables, and harnesses to meet production and quality standards.Perform crimping operations on terminals, connectors, and contacts using appropriate tools and techniques.Conduct continuity tests on wiring and assemblies using a continuity tester or similar equipment to verify proper connections.Interpret and follow electrical blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately.Perform basic soldering tasks on electrical and electronic components as needed.Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.Document work as required, including recording test results or assembly data when needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, with a preference for 3 or more years of hands-on experience.Proficiency in electrical assembly, including routing and tying wires for wire harnesses and cable assemblies.Experience with crimping tools and techniques for electrical connectors and terminals.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.Experience with wiring and wire harness or cable assembly work.Basic soldering skills for electronic and electrical assemblies.Familiarity with using continuity testers or similar tools to verify wiring continuity.Eligibility to work on ITAR-controlled projects, in accordance with applicable regulations.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Ability to work consistently and efficiently on a production line or assembly environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in electronic assembly environments.Comfort working with hand tools and small electrical components.Ability to troubleshoot basic wiring or assembly issues.Strong manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.Commitment to quality and adherence to established procedures and standards.Why Work Here?You will join a stable production environment where your hands-on skills directly contribute to high-quality electro-mechanical products. You will regularly work with hand tools, crimping tools, soldering equipment, and continuity testers, as well as reference blueprints and electrical schematics. The work involves standing for extended periods, handling small components, and following safety and quality procedures in a structured manufacturing setting. Attire is typical for a production floor, emphasizing safety and practicality in accordance with site guidelines.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
