The Apprentice Electrician will assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and fixtures in a variety of settings. Daily tasks include supporting wiring and conduit work, helping with panel and outlet installations, and performing basic electrical testing under supervision. The role also involves learning to read and interpret electrical drawings, organizing tools and materials, and following all safety procedures and local codes. The apprentice will be expected to learn on the job, participate in training, and work collaboratively with the team to complete projects on schedule.Qualifications Foundational knowledge of electricity concepts and safe electrical practices.Basic skills or training in electrical work, including wiring, installation, and use of standard electrical tools.Ability to assist with maintenance & repair tasks and support troubleshooting of electrical issues.Interest or coursework in electrical engineering or related technical fields is beneficial.Strong attention to safety, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn from more experienced electricians.Ability to work on-site in Tehachapi, CA, including standing, bending, and lifting as required for electrical work.Reliable transportation to job sites, good time management, and professional communication skills.High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship or trade program is a plus.
